Primarily the teams DH he has filled in admirably at various positions for the team, seeing most action at 1st base... Smith has won several batting titles with M.C. affilate TruWheels, he also serves as the teams GM... numbers were down for Smith this year as he suffered a torn MCL weeks before the 2007 season ....Smith is married to Kristen and has a son...the family lives in Wollaston...graduated from Quincy High School in 1988.
