QUINCY - McInnis Carpentry affiliate Quincy will take on the Quincy Bulldogs this Sunday in the South Shore Sunday Night Softball League championship game.
Quincy comes in at 18-4, is 4-0 in the tournament and needs to be beaten twice for the championship. This years game is a rematch of last year's final in which the Bulldogs won easily 22-6.
Quincy features several McInnis Carpentry players: Thirdbasen Scott Logan, 2B Mark Free, outfielders Neal Plant, Sean Munro & Tom Fratolillo, 1b Chris Smith and pitcher Greg Harper.
The Bulldogs are led by former Hammer shortstop Mike Palmer. Both Palmer & second baseman Bill Clarke played for the Hammers (then known as the Manet) during the '01 season.
